Trip To Andover, MA

Today I traveled to Andover, MA to look at a completed Tiny House.  I have been slacking as of late and need some inspiration.  It is a great house 10'x22' and has a hideaway bed and no loft.  I really liked it and Christopher and his father did a great job building it and their attention to detail really showed.  Thanks for having Tiny Homes of New England Meetup Group over for a visit!

Thanksgiving Snow Storm

Here's a photo of the house while I was in NY for Thanksgiving.  We lucked out in NY and only had rain, while in NH they were without power for days.  Sorry I missed all the fun, not.  Think it's time for a proper roof!

Two Windows Find Their Way Into The Tiny House

Installed two windows this afternoon.  It really makes all the difference.  Tomorrow more electrical and plumbing.  Hopefully the insulation will make its appearance some time after Thanksgiving.

Door is in.

Got the door installed yesterday with the help of Bruce.  It's not the French door I wanted but I couldn't see spending $2500.00 for a door that was12 inches wider.  Spent less than $400. on this one.  Sacrifices must be made somewhere.

Craigslist Wood Stove Find

After spending a night in an uninsulated tiny house, I thought it might be time to look into a cheap wood stove, this is what I found.  2002 Vermont castings Aspen 1920 for $250.

Here's the temporary setup in action...
